	I received your two letters. If I or my colleagues have any reaction to
your notes on logic, one of us will write.

	As to your coming to Stanford, I have asked that you be sent application 
materials.

	You would have to apply for admission in September 1986, because it is 
already too late for 1985. We do have enough assistantships to support people
admitted to the PhD. program, although there might be difficulty about 
transportation costs.

	Since we admit about 30 of 450 applicants you should also apply to other
American universities.
